About the Cottages

Seniorcare Geraldine have 11 cottages, a mix of 1 and 2 bedrooms. All the cottages are in the grounds of Waihi Lodge Care Centre in Shaw street, close to Geraldine town centre. Designed to foster independent living, the cottages provide low-maintenance living.

Additional Services

With its close proximity to its facilities, Cottage residents are welcomed into Waihi Lodge for lunch by arrangement, or can have meals on wheels delivered.  Some of the activities taking place at Waihi Lodge and function centre are also available to cottage residents to participate in. 

Application Process.

To apply to live in a rental cottage, complete an application form which is available at the reception of Waihi Lodge Care Centre or can be downloaded in the tabs below. If an application is accepted, the person goes into a pool of waiting people. An assessment process determines which applicants have greater need when a cottage becomes available.
